Sherry Yeager
Director of Finance and Budgeting
Sherry joined The Hayman Company in 1993 to direct the Company's budget process. The responsibility covers all property types - residential, office, retail, and hotel. Over the years, Sherry's responsibilities have expanded to numerous other financial areas, including acquisitions and dispositions of properties, mortgage refinancing, lender and investor relations, purchase and sale of interest rate caps, and monitoring of debt covenants and other loan provisions. Sherry is also familiar with daily property operations through visits to nearly every Hayman property as part of the budget process. By standardizing and automating the budget process, Company management has an effective tool with which to monitor portfolio performance and reward employee achievements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee annual budget process for all Hayman owned or managed properties.
- Monitor and assure debt covenant compliance.
- Serve as back-up to Chief Financial Officer, including Treasury function, as necessary.
- Act as financial liaison with Hayman hotel properties.
- Transact specialized financing arrangements, including interest rate caps, collars, and mezzanine financing.
- Supervise and direct the construction draw process for development and renovation of properties.
- Work closely with attorneys, lenders, and other outside parties in relation to acquisition, disposition, and refinancing transactions.

- Central Michigan University, Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Summa Cum Laude
- Certified Public Accountant, Michigan
