St. Louis, Missouri (St. Louis University)

University Heights was failing to reach even a 70% occupancy rate, and was on St. Louis’ “blacklist” for the previous four years due to major security concerns and substandard accommodations and amenities.

Hayman first targeted Grandeview Pointe’s safety concerns, enacting new security protocols, and partnering with the local police and surrounding neighborhood making it a safe place to live. Shawn Neal, Regional DirectorShawn joined Hayman with over 23 years’ experience in financial and management in Multifamily. She has served over several markets in the U.S. and has strong experience in all class of portfolios with an emphasis on value-add. Shawn started in the industry as a leasing consultant and worked very quickly into a Property Manager role. Within a year’s time, she promoted to a Regional Property Manager role and within 4 years, has accelerated into a Senior Regional Director role, overseeing 2500 units in two different markets. Shawn has receivership, commercial, student housing and conventional industry experience throughout the country, managing a total of 5000 units. She holds designations as a Certified Property Manager and Certified Occupancy Specialist. Shawn also possesses Asset Management experience, where she focused on financial KPI’s for a portfolio of assets. While developing team members and continuing to stabilize and maximize assets, she continues her passion in the Mid-West market.
